John is widely recognized as a trusted communications executive and media liaison in the commercial and residential real estate industry who has been on the cutting edge of public relations for 15 years. Working for high-profile organizations and Fortune 500 companies, John has a proven track record in resolving complex business issues and effectively positioning companies and executives. He has an extensive communications background, which includes: corporate communications, executive and company branding, social media, strategic issues development, and media relations experience.

John’s media relations and corporate communications experience includes working for Fortune 500 company, KB Home, and for two of the most significant mixed use real estate developers on the West Coast, Playa Vista and Newhall Land.

Prior to forming his own company, John cut his teeth in the PR agency world as Vice President of the Los Angeles office of MWW Group, one of the nation’s top ranked PR firms. While there, he was instrumental in working with Shell Hydrogen in launching renewable energy fueling stations to the LA marketplace and with a major pet food manufacturer in successfully developing and implementing their crisis communications strategies during the 2007 national pet food recall to protect the company brand.

John also worked as Press Deputy for LA County Supervisor Don Knabe, where he was the chief spokesperson to the media and primary speechwriter. During his time in the Supervisor’s office, John was instrumental in helping create LA County’s first Civic Arts Policy.
A leader in his profession, John served as Vice President of the Public Relations Society of America LA Chapter and earned his Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) in 2010. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Building Industry Association (BIA) LA/Ventura Chapter and the Board of Directors for PVJOBS, a Los Angeles non-profit which places at-risk individuals in construction-related employment opportunities. He is also an active member of the Westside Urban Forum.

A graduate of Washington State University, John attended the nationally ranked Edward R. Murrow College of Communication where he received a bachelor’s degree in public relations.
